Upcoming Album Launch @ Brisbane Jazz Club

I’m excited to announce the launch of my new album Now and Then later this month on May 28 at the Brisbane Jazz Club. This release comprises of original jazz music that I have composed over the last couple of years and is heavily grounded in my interest in the jazz tradition coming out of blues, bebop and hard bop.

This is a project that I’ve been promising myself to undertake for several years and after a busy few months of production I’m relieved that pressing is now underway at the plant. The recording session took place in December 2014 with my current quintet featuring Shannon Marshall (trumpet/flugelhorn), Chris Poulsen (piano), Helen Russell (bass) and Nathan Goldman (drums) who will all be joining me for the launch.
