New music underway

After a leave-of-absence I’m getting back into the swing of things for my masters. I’m currently working on a few new compositions that will be premiered next month at Artsworx Theatre in Toowoomba. This set of compositions seem to have a particular rhythmic focus to them. I’ll be joined by my regular originals quartet consisting of Chris Poulsen (piano), Helen Russell (bass) and Nathan Goldman (drums). This will actually be our only our 2nd gig for this year all together so I’m really looking forward to getting back to rehearsing and performing with these fabulous players.
